Robert J. Berens, M.D.

Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management

Dr. Robert J. Berens is a board-certified physician with more than 25 years of experience practicing interventional pain management. He has served as the medical director of the TMC Integrative Pain Center since 2004 and has special interest in interventional procedures, including radiofrequency techniques and nerve root treatments for the entire spine.

Dr. Berens believes a pain specialist has unique opportunities to provide a wide range of treatment options that restore function and reduce pain. He recognizes that patients are the most important member of a multidisciplinary approach, and he emphasizes the importance of communicating with each patient to set clear treatment goals and expectations.

Dr. Berens received his medical degree from the University of Arizona and performed his anesthesiology residency and pain training at the University of Texas.

When he is not working, Dr. Berens enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He maintains a wide array of sporting interests and can often be found hiking the local mountain trails of greater Tucson.


William Abraham, M.D.
Board Certified in Internal Medicine

Dr. Bill Abraham is board-certified in internal medicine and has more than 30 years of experience. His extensive knowledge, diverse background and patient-focus make him a welcome addition to the TMC Integrative Pain Center.

Dr. Abraham completed a three-year internal medicine residency training program at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut, a Yale affiliate. He spent nearly 20 years at a busy practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico and continued in Tucson after joining TMCOne in 2001.


Iftequar A. Siddiqui, Pharm.D, M.D.
Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management

Dr. Iftequar Siddiqui specializes in providing advanced treatment options for patients who are experiencing chronic pain. With a focus on helping patients reach sustained relief as quickly as possible, Dr. Siddiqui takes the time to listen and gain a thorough understanding of each patient’s medical background, needs and expectations.

He is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain management, and has extensive training administering interventional procedures and implantable therapies. In addition to his credentials as a medical doctor, he also has a postgraduate degree in pharmacy, which further enhances his knowledge of medication-related treatments.

Dr. Siddiqui earned his doctor of pharmacy from the Chicago College of Pharmacy at Midwestern University and his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago. After completing an internship at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Des Plaines, Illinois, and an anesthesiology residency at the University of Arizona, he completed an interventional pain management fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Dr. Siddiqui appreciates the sunshine, great food and friendly culture of the Southwest. He and his wife enjoy outdoor activities and traveling when time allows.
